Do you have any beach essentials?

Yes, we do! There are two boogie boards, 4 beach towels, two beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach umbrella located in the unlocked closet inside the garage.

What’s the best place to shop for groceries?
​
The closest grocery store is Von’s in Plaza Paseo Real, and it’s only a 5 minute walk. Other stores that are close by include Jimbo’s, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Stater Bros., Target, Walmart, and Ralph’s.

Best local swimming pool?
​
Both the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, and the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort offer day passes, and have pools suitable for adults and also for families. Both are less than 5 minutes from the house. Contact each resort directly for more information.
4.
Closest golf course?
​
The closest private courses are located at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, and the Park Hyatt Resort. The closest public golf course is Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, which is less than 10 minutes by car.
5.
Favorite beach?
​
Two of our favorite local beaches are Ponto Beach and Moonlight Beach, and both have parking available. To get to Ponto Beach, drive west on La Costa until it ends. Make a right turn onto Hwy. 101 and then a U-turn at your first opportunity. Street parking and the parking lot will be on your right. To get to Moonlight Beach, take the 5 freeway south two exits to Encinitas Blvd. Make a right turn and then go straight past Hwy. 101. Moonlight Beach is at the very end when you cannot drive any further.
